1/16 - 1/18 Philly Mini Event

Rachel announced recently on the OOC list that the finale for Scorched Earth will be the weekend of 1/18. I have a couple of players that want to go but need to carpool to be able to afford it and my car is already fully loaded. If anyone here is interested in going and wants to carpool let me know and I'll put people in contact.

I am way interested in traveling for games, especially if there's a ride being offered, but I booked that weekend last December.

That would be fantastic, I know Darryl and I wanna go maybe a couple others, all depends on when where and what AAA estimates I'll have to pay for gas.

Here's what Rachel originally posted. Last time I talked to her she was starting to look at hotels. I'll try to grab her online tonight and get more details. As of right now we have at least 5 players from Hidden Flame going, with the possibility of two more if carpooling can happen, and a third if the Navy doesn't decide to get around to transfering him between now and January.

I am just writing to let everyone know.  Philly is holding a big game for "wrapping up" scorched earth.  Basically the big attack on both of philadelphia's caerns.  The technical date is New Years Eve.  The actual date will be the weekend of January 16-18th.  But that is only if we get enough interest from people.  the weekend falls on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the 19th.  If we have 25 people who are interested in showin up we will play the whole weekend and look into a hotel, the information will be comming if people get back to us. 

If not the game will happen on just the 18th. 

If I could get the st's to poll their games and email me back by December 14th with the actual people interest or gaureteed to come.  This is going to be an epic battle, high chance of death.  But its to stop scorched earth and save two caerns at once.  I'm sure the Garou are tired of loosing Caerns.

Sounds fun. As soon as costs are up I'll hit up people I know, I know at least Darryl and I want to go, and I can fit at least two other people asuming nobody else in my pack wants to go or can arrange other transport.

and I get grumpy if I get called day of the event and need a sheet sent.

Hey all,

As posted on the Garou ST list before...

January 16-18th is a mini-event hosted by Reclamation Philadelphia Garou.
Sign in will start around 7pm friday the 16th.  (about when I can get there from work, if its a bit later, I appologize)
Game will end the 18th around noon.
It will be at the Raddison in King of Prussia (more complete information to follow)
Cost of game will be $25.00-$30.00 
There are a ton of hotels in the area, if you don't want to stay at the raddison.
There will be snacks provided friday night, breakfast, lunch dinner on saturday, and sunday will be breakfast again.  This is all provided by me (via the hotel) so if you feel like chiping in a bit more money it will be appreciated.

I have heard from a few games that there will be some attenance.  I would love to have more people, the more the less death... I mean um..  ;-)

The purpose of this mini-event, wrap up of scorched earth, the two big bad main groups.  Oh and lets not forget saving two caerns at the same time.

Joseph and I are 80% sure we are going... We are carpooling with some people that Becca told us about who live in Providence... If we take my car we will have room for 1 other person if they don't mind being squished in the middle of a backseat.

Becca, could you shoot Rachel's email over to Mike and I, if you have a sec.  I'm sure I'd be able to find it easily enough going through the lists if not.  Do you know when the deadline is for receipt of sheets by Rachel's team?

Cost: $35.00 per person, hotel room is NOT included. (if you can only show for one day, email me privately).

There is a lot of hotels in the area of the Radisson if you don't want to stay there.  Unfortunately there wasn't enough people who confirmed that they would be here to get a group discount.  But their rooms are reasonable and nice.  Also there is crash spaced available for some people.  Space is limited in the offered crash space.

Also food will NOT be provided, sorry, we will do food breaks and stuff, perhaps all do lunch after game at a place close by.

I need sheets to me no later then January 8th by midnight.

What the cost of the event gets you, a warm place to play, a name badge, character sheet, beads for those that need them for showing rank and renown.

Game schedule:  check in starts 7:30pm friday night, we have the room until 11pm.  So rollplay and have fun
Saturday we start 10am and have the room until midnight.
Sunday we start at 10am and end game and be out by noon.
