The evening opened with a barn dance for the local Garou and Kin. Currently they are a fairly loose-knit community, no organized Sept or Caern. Mostly consisting of Bone Gnawer & a few CoG kin, a Bone Gnawer Galliard named Eats Chicken After Midnight was the emcee for the evening. Garou in attendance were young Patrick Solomon, a Cliath Glass Walker Ragabash, PEBHE hung out in the corner most of the evening, being an angst-filled Metis Uktena Ahroun. Also there was Bobbi Runs Between Raindrops, a Fostern Homid Coggie, Edina 'Ballroom Blitz', a Fostern Fury Ahroun, and Fynn, an Adren Child of Gaia Theurge.
As the party started to really kick up, people started to move outside to the beach where a large, friendly bonfire was being built. Although there was a brief interruption when the carcass of a Pilot Whale washed up onto the shore. Patrick was able to analize enough in the poor lighting to find that the predator that killed this animal was a large shark.
The Garou and Kin disposed of the body, and shortly after PEBHE saw something strange in the umbra. A small spirit-girl, barefoot and in a sundress ran past him in fear. Her arms were red and raw from restraints. Following her were several large, dark spirits. All of them ran out onto the water before anyone could do anything. When PEBHE told the others, Eats Chicken after Midnight simply chalked it up to the strange spirits that were often found on the Cape.
As the night spun down, the Garou hunted the Wyrm. A sludge-pollution bane was located farther up the coast and PEBHE and Edina rpped it apart with tooth and claw, while Patrick, Bobbi and Eats shot from afar. Fynn bound the spirit so it could be properly disposed of later.
Phone numbers and information were exchanged, and slowly, the community began to grow a bit tighter.
