Oop and awwwww. :)

Awwwww, I just now noticed that public renown has changed a lot.  And here I was looking forward to another Pump Up The Volume-esque radio show style monologue like Ash's last public renown post, complete with, "It's the full moon; do you know where your cubs are?"

Also, I'll be gone during January's game.  Arisia.

You could do a full Pump Up the Volume style rant in your XP/Renown/Downtime thread, and put just one or two excerpts in the public renown thread.

You'd get to amuse the staff, at least?  And yourself.  I have a ton of fun writing my Downtime for my Hidden Flame character, because she sort of . . . she's not allowed to show the full force of her personality at game.  Even a half-measure is getting her a visit to the Philodox Council.  But I get to write it all out in her Downtimes, and that's very refreshing.  Also fun writing stuff in Shulamith's character area, about all the things she can't or doesn't talk about publicly.

Writing fun little excerpts about characters in downtimes is the best. Reading them as an ST I get kicks, for sure, and it inspires me to do things for that character in the form of plots and such. As a player it's like a fun little inside joke that you get to enjoy without the consequences of everyone knowing the sundry sides of your character.
