I suggest the scene just be moved to the mainland, where fires should be permitted. Then all the RP can be there, it's just a small change of scenery.

My post where Alice finds out the Ban was posted at 11:34am. And unless I give small alterations in time, the posts I write happen at the time I post them.

If that's not allowed, but Alice shouted about the ban (I havent looked yet) then we can all relax anyway, because some wise soul will discourage the lighting of the pyre.

Umm... You don't lose wisdom for breaking a totem's ban. You gain Spirit Notoriety. Kinda worse. Especially for the Theurge.

And Alice would make sure that if someone was knowingly breaking the Caern Totem's ban, she'd make sure they lost Renown for it, on top of the Notoriety.

Therefore, Gerald's Gathering may proceed as it stands, without penalty. Players and their characters do not get punished because I am slow.
