Title: Odd Question About Stats
Post by: Carter Heyward on March 18, 2009, 05:57:48 PM
Why, in percentage terms, does "Most Popular Boards By Activity" add up a number over (or under is some cases) 100%, as listed in the general stats for each member?

Rounding errors?

Can't be rounding errors! Mine add up to about 160% or so.

The percentages given, are not, as one may be lead to believe, against a total 100% of "this person's time doing everything else."  They are the percentage of total activity within that board that is attributed to posts by by that person, versus posts by everyone else.

I do find it strange (and disturbing) that someone other than me found something that obscure :)

I figured that out awhile ago...

But then again I'm as OCD about the boards as you are Marc. I don't know what Andrew's excuse is :P
