Title: Next Week's Game
Post by: Justin Northwood on September 02, 2012, 09:03:31 PM
Just a reminder to RSVP for next week's game (http://www.rageacrossthecape.com/rsvp), if you've not yet done so.

Also, since this is our last game of the season/year at our house in Warwick, it's likely going to be a prime opportunity (weather permitting) for a fire.  We would need folks to bring some wood for the fire pit if they'd like to do this.

See everyone next week! :)

Does anyone have a chain saw?

Remember to check the Asian Longhorn Beatle Quarrantine lines - those things are nasty and bringing unsafe firewood across county or state lines could land you a hefty fine.

Safest bet is usually bundled firewood, though it's definitely a bit more expensive.

Since depleting the woodpile last year, we've just grabbed a couple of bundles each time we've planned to have a fire this year.  Lowes or Home Depot are usually cheapest around here, but you can get bundled firewood at almost any gas station/convenience store.

Welp, looking at CT restrictions, can't cross state lines.

Also. Still lacking a chainsaw.... it's mostly the chainsaw thing.

Most Lumber yards will let you take their scraps for free...
