For those who went, how did it go?  For some of you, this was your first introduction to character portability in OWbN.  Hope it went off without a hitch for everyone. :)

It went really great. We just got home an hour ago.... It was a long weekend, but very fulfilling.

Good stuff happened... bad stuff happened... but then, it is the world of darkness... Will reserve the stories of triumph, sadness, anger, vengence, and all that jazz for IC, but overall it was a great weekend! I would definately go to an event game again! (and for those who care... Coatlicues's rocks are now slowly making their way across all the septs of OWBN... :-P )

I'm definately thinking about going to non-klaive next time it comes around! I know I did and Joe did, but I think the whole group had a blast...

and balefire... why why why does it seem to follow me everywhere I go? (sigh)

All in all I echo EB's notes.

A good event, a lot of good people met and the the ST's did a solid job of rolling us in almost immediately. It was nice to be able to renew the shiney newness of meeting other folks. The ride down was a tad long due to NYC but back we easy enough.

All in all your players (speaking as a narrator) comported themselves very well and actually got called out multiple times during wrap up for their solid RP, good costuming and great efforts to involve others in what they were doing. I think you should be proud that they helped bolster the reputation of RAtC in Philly and Chicago.

Ignore what they're saying. All you need to know is: Silverfang sandwiched between two furies.

I'm just a Wendigo snowglobe, flying above the sands...

I'm just a Wendigo snowglobe, my rage no longer in my hands...

from an old timer's point of view, and I guess a Narrator, because that's the majority of what I did (I'm still trying to figure out how I got roped into running everything I did), it was nice that there seemed to be little drama/complaints about how the combat was run (all I was there for was the 'big fight').  Even the parts that I ran (or at least the complaints haven't gotten back to me yet).

I did feel kinda old, sadly enough.  But it was a reminder of why I had enjoyed LARPing all those years ago.

It also felt like I had walked into a Hot Topic at times, but I guess that's part and parcel.

Oh.  And no real Silver Fangs or Shadow Lords.  Heyoka Hey!

"Ok Coatlicue... we have a glasswalker, fianna, black fury and silver fang you can bargain their lives for a retest on binding the big black icky swirling stuff around Seeks... do you want to risk them..."

"oh... they are all wyrmcomers... so... yeah! I'll take the Fianna for 100 Alex!"

There once was a bright green Iguana
Who's name was Olivia Anna
Her speach it was bent
With a Boston Accent
So she didn't say corner, but cana...

When I figure it out, I'll letcha know.

Ah, the joys of not having a Deedname anymore.  Maybe I can be the deedless elder if my TN ever gets back to me.

Ha.  HAHA.  HAHAHAHAHA.

I had a blast, though I might need a new deed name when I hit Fostern, because I was unscaved by the multiple balefire attacks. Too bad I can not buy the merit.

*looks left... looks right* NOT MY FAULT HE WAS ON FIRE he would have burned to death... if anything it was a quick painless death as an alternative to a burning searing flame torch death... ~grumble~

(narrows eyes) that kinfolk was fated for death from the beginning of the scene...when the ST gods say..." this kinfolk is meant to die...for the good of the scene" everything we tried to do to save him just got twisted into another way to make him die... *glare*

sigh... oh well... clearly not as noteworthy as the wendigo snowglobe....

True enough.  It was still a pretty silly move though (made me crack up).

Ah, the IC ramifications of that one will be fun.

I gotta find someone who has pictures of that... cause if I get a picture of you on that chair doing the "snow globe" hand motions... I'm going to buy one of those snow globes you can put a picture behind, and slide that pic in and shake it up for my own amusement...

Don't worry, all of that can be photoshopped in. Give it a bit of time and someone will.

But yeah, even after all of you left I was hearing only good things about you guys from everyone you all interacted with this weekend. And Twilight will be coming to visit in a couple of weeks with the stories, just as soon as she's done freezing the balls off the crazy Glasswalker that volunteered himself to experience life in the frozen North.

of course not... *rolls eyes* the ST actually told us that OOC... that anything we did was going to result in his death... cause the kinfolk was meant to die....

That is because you are such a bad-mo-fo when it comes to not taking damage from anything... friggin you were the ONLY person there to not take damage from the balefire... I want to know your secret! How do you always come out of battles soaking rediculous amounts of damage? *rolls eyes*

Well, glad to hear that (to Twilght, that is).

And yes, kinfolk was going to die... to BOMBS.  I had my own plan on killing him off... you just made it much more amusing.  Don't worry, it'll be fun.  At least for me.

As to soaking damage.. uh.. Wendigo?  Duh?  Our tribal benifit during winter (at least in Table Top) is -1 diff to soak everything.  'Cause we're special.  We don't need no armor gifts baby, we're just hard core.
