Great Map Marc

two things

see the little island between the two big islands of Monomoy?
Shade that for the Shadow Lords.

Also could you add lines for the Bridges?

For addition to the map, the Red Crest as a Pack have staked out the a chunk of the southern portion of the main island, most especially around the marsh and pond area.

Hey Marc great job on the maps.
If you get time, adding the red Crest's lands in would be great.

Also on the Cape Map.
There is also an Umbral bridge that travels from Provincetown to Plymouth.

:)

Thanks

The maps are definately awesome. If I could just ask you give the Red Crest lands a quarter turn clockwise, just to be able to surround the marshlands as well. Thanks by the way for making them, it makes the land situation (and the bridges) a little more clear. For me anyway.

Pixie  lol

Marshlands now being claimed by Red Crest.  In the middle of those Marsh Lands is the Big Tree.   Tom and Pebe might have to let Red Crest know the details of that tree  lol

He can speak with us, be a Keeper of the Land can't deny unclaimed territory. None of us will be there this weekend.

as an FYI  the Beta can deny the land if he wishes it free.  As he is the Beta and only the Alpha out ranks him, outside Caern protection where the Warder outranks everyone.  If Red Crest wants the land and claims it and the Beta doesnt want this run the scene we are role playing afterall  :)

:)

Just my two cents

I thought this was an OOC conversation, for the maps. Is the Beta denying land? Cause that would cause a whole other situation.

Just to clarify:

1)  The entire "maps" discussion thus far has been OOC (Marc made and posted the maps, not Patrick).  For all intents and purposes, the maps don't even exist IC, as they are meant to be an OOC reference.  The "pack territory debate" however, does exist IC, which brings me to my next point:

2) The first step needs to be an IC conversation between PEBE (as Keeper of the Land) and the Alpha of Red Crest.  Someone needs to start a scene, and I suggest that be Red Crest seeking out PEBE.

3) To the extent Patrick would get involved in this (and he wouldn't until after the discussion between PEBE/Red Crest gets underway), is that it is Patrick's strong feeling that the following areas not ever be fully contained within any pack's territory (basically any place or feature of significance on South Monomoy Island):
     - Big Station Pond
     - Little Station Pond
     - Hospital Pond
     - "Powder Hole" Bog Area
     - The Lighthouse
     - The Heart of the Caern

Hint:  The smaller un-named ponds to the West of the Lighthouse are fair game

Also: In any case where a pack territory "cuts off" one portion of the island from another (as is the case with the Amphibious Assault territory) it will be assumed that there is a prominent, unobstructed path leading through that conects both portions of "unclaimed" territory.

So OOC that is all I have to say about that  :)

Well, then it will have to be started by another, as far as a Lupus pack is concerned, whent hey stake land it is their until challenge or objection is brought. We will await it from whoever brings it ICly.

I have a question for Mike before I make any IC decision... Are either of the ponds/marshes freshwater? as this will impact Pebe's view. And for referance are ANY of the lakes/ponds/marshes on Monomoy freshwater?

Marc, would you so kind as to add the various named parts of the Sept grounds for reference?

Specifically,

Ritemaster's Glen (which I personally would like to be overlooking that unnamed "lake" next the top left hand corner of the lighthouse icon)

Battle Grounds

Challenge Mound

Tale Circle

Thanks

The challenge mound and Battle grounds are south of the lighthouse where the tale circle is south of the heart but north of the lighthouse

Den Mother's Area: On the South west side of the little lake that's South of the Rite Master's Glen, west of the lighthouse? Does that make sense?

For an update request after the IC RP we just had

Please draw a line from the C in Challenge mound Due West from coast to coast as the pack lands for Tyrhielm

Also please note just south of the arrow Big Station Pond, outside the Tyrhielm pack lands is where Torvald is building his Blacksmith pit and armory.

Thanks a bunch
