... We start equating Rage Across the Cape Characters to Glee Characters.
Yeah.
SO! I thought I might share with all of you the wonder so you can add in your own opinions:
Ash: Rachel Berry (a Gothic Rachel Berry is still a Rachel Berry)
Bella: Puckerman (Right down to the thinking she is way more badass than she actually is)
It was also mentioned that Josh Drueller may or may not be Artie and that Ben/Benj/Ehud may or may not be Finn.

I think Alice is Coach Beast (or is it spelled Beiste?) honestly :)

An unholy union of the two, maybe. There's a LOT of Sue in Alice.

And besides, Sue also has her softer side. You see it with her sister. Sue totally protects the downtrodden . . . she just acts like an utter horror to do it.
Also: I'm still torn between Tina and Rachel for Ash. While Ash grandstands some, she's too fashion-conscious in Tina's direction (and a little too race- and class-conscious) to fully be Rachel.
Although, Ash is Jewish . . .

But Alice doesn't act like an utter horror. She's not vicious and cruel like Sue is. She doesn't constantly attack people and rip them down like Sue does. Like, I think Coach Beast's method of Tough Love is much more accurate than Sue's vindictive cruelty.

Alice is a thorough educator who EXPECTS greatness. EXPECTS 110%. She puts down people who are not acting to their full potential or reaching beyond that. It's one of the reasons why she took Becky under her wing. Becky took a chance to reach for something that she probably had no shot at. And it's why she completely ejected Quinn from the Cheerios because she was foolish enough to get herself knocked up, or bumping Santana out of the Head Cheerleader position because she got her boobs done to try and buy her way to an easier life.
Even during the Rocky Horror episode when she was staunchly standing in the conservative corner she made SENSE. Maybe it wasn't what was wanted, or what was popular, or was fun. But she had a point. Sound familiar?

But all of those things also apply to Coach Beast. She expects 110% and doesn't settle for less. She is the best coach that they've seen and, while harsh and unrelenting, she does it without resorting to the cruelty that Sue resorts to. Alice almost never resosrts to trying to emotionally destroy someone. Alice doesn't resort to repeatedly insulting and verbally attacking someone and doing everything to hurt the feelings of other people. She's harsh, yes. But so is Coach Beast. She pushes people and gives them opportunities and doesn't take shit. She is just as harsh, but isn't willing to just break dreams to get there (Sue repeatedly throwing people out of the Cheerio's for no good reason). She still throws people out when they're idiots (Looking at you Finn).
