Question on Spirit Awakening and bamboo staves
« on: August 23, 2008, 11:06:10 AM »
In the Children of Gaia Tribe Book, it mentions that if the bamboo spirit of a staff is awakened, it receives +1 to dice pools. It never said anything about for MET, so I was curious. Would it allow for a one trait bonus to attack, damage or both?

Ah, OK. What book is that in? One of the Litany of the Tribes books that I don't have?

No it's TT-MET rules. If it gives it a +1 to the Dice pool it gives a +1 to Hit. If it added +1 to Damage pools it would give +1 Damage

Alright. Thanks for clearing that up. It will be useful when I try not to die during our duel.  :)

And then we kill Dimitri, so it's ok. :)

Bamboo staves get a +1 Phys Dex-related phys trait, but it also has the negative trait: Fragile.

I know this, as Owen's staff of choice is a bamboo staff.

Umm....I never asked. So, a staff is +3 traits, but a bamboo staff is +4. Then, an awakened bamboo staff is +5? Just thought I'd make sure because this is relevant to my interests.
