Breakdown of what happened at the event game
« on: September 27, 2008, 11:10:03 AM »
As some of the players who were either not there or are online players only, here is a breakdown of what happened at the event:

Friday night: Vampire slaughter. Much undead death. Julie Darkfire kicked ass and took names while the rest of the Sept ran down stragglers and cleaned up.

Saturday day: Preparations for the Caern move. Due to the Caern Totem suffering from the same illness of mundane bunblebees in the realm, flooding Monomoy, throwing fits of madness it ws decided among the Caern Elders to move the Caern to it's original location on Nantucket Island. This area was recently released from the clutches of the Wyrm who had held onto it since the white men arrived in New England.
Most of the preparation was the removal of Blights that dotted the island. The Garou split up into groups consisting of one or two Packs and set out to cleanse these areas. These places varied from the home of a mad, tainted Mage to an underwater Submarine that leaked radiation. All these places were cleansed, although there still seems to be one last bane that needs to be taken care of.

Saturday night: The Caern Build/Move. High atop the Ziggurat that was to be Honeybee's new home Alice prepared the Ritual. On the next stone tier stood Owen, Thoth, Julie Darkfire and Don Tony. Circling the rest of the structure were the rest of the Sept.
The Ritual began as soon as members of the Warder Pack shut down the Monomoy Lighthouse and began to move the stones that gave the Lighthouse Spirit his power.
The Ritual began, and all Garou were thrown into a vision of the past. The Croatan, throwing themselves into the maw of the Great Bane to choke it. Minions of the Wyrm came in great waves, breaking the bodies and even sometimes, the minds of Garou. At one point Owen had to be stopped by a Thoth from joining the Croatan.
Hours passed. The Lighthouse Spirit was moved to another home on Nantucket and the Garou were given a short rest when he began to join the fight. Finally in a last great burst of power, the Caern was restored to the glory of what it one was. What was once a small, meager low-level Caern that was barely more than a puddle of Gnosis could now boast that it was amongst the most powerful Caerns in the country.
That night there was a Moot, and songs of joy sung for not a soul was lost in the battle. The Revel was not a hunt but a party where Garou mingled (and more!) with various Kinfolk from the Cape.

The next day the work began. Torvald began to move his Forge, and Alice began to move her Glen. Many of the Sept are now looking for homes on the exclusive and rather opulent island.
