Title: Tribal Packets
Post by: Ryan McKenna on March 26, 2009, 10:22:44 PM
30 seconds later and what do you know I've read them all... Geeze, had to be some of the most unhelpful things I have ever read.

This would be why they are theoretically being updated.

Says Brian:

"Get of Fenris is in final draft editing.
Same with Wendigo and BSD. expect them up for vote next month.
the other's are under construction, to be finished sometime soon after that."

I was TOLD that there will be a functional draft of the CoG packet by June.

If you want Packets, send messages to your Tribal lists and ask your SubCoord (Formerly TNs) what the status of the packets are, and what you can do to help them write these documents.

I can't be gimmegimmegimme. These are people like you, with jobs like you. The reason why a lot of packets probably aren't getting out is these 15-20 page documents are really an intimidating thing to write. Help them help you.

I can. It's been more than 2 years for some of these packets. And the Vampire side of the org has the same people in the same situation in terms of jobs and life and shit, but they manage updates fine with a far larger player base, and a far larger amount of information to deal with, and far more antagonistic set of players and storytellers than we Garou folk will ever have.

I'm trying to be nice. If I don't see at least an ioda of effort on the SubCoords part in a couple months than I'm calling people out. Probably the fall.

You'd really feel my special brand of love if you were a TN for 2-3+ years and still hadn't produced a packet.

I believe I threatened to sodomize Deitz for that, as I ended up basically writing the packet.

But I feel you.  Going on 2 years I'm waiting for my Elder Challenge. :)

You never know. Deitz might've liked that.

And yanno, you have STs who can give you a challenge. No need to rely on unresponsive SubCoords.

Just because you can throw me around like a girl, doesn't mean I want to be -your- 'girl', Ben...

Friction is, in fact, friction, regardless of the source (in general mathematical terms)
