All scenes that happened after the Cages incident are frozen and didn't happen, unless it doesn't involve any of the characters in the cages.
Players have to take responsibility on the forums as well as ST's

But I can tell you straight out I will not run scenes with the notion that you are in scenes after mine.
No one gets the Carde La Blanche
The 4 characters in those cages have a real good possibility of dying in those cages.

The Whale Scene (which includes Coatlicue's hand being tattooed and then afterwards cut off)
All of the SR scenes.

Look its safe to assume if you enter scenes with the HST you shouldn't participate in scenes that take place after entering my scenes.
The people involved know how I am, usually when i start scenes there are points to the scenes and reasons why I'm doing them.
My style of role playing and ST is not to do frivolous scenes.

Players have to take responsibility for their own actions and probably stop involving themselves in 27 scenes at once.
I know some players have not been doing this and are effected by the scene holds but there is little to nothing I can do about that.
I have done behind the scene stuff with certain players to move along the scene they are in but I won't give a free pass to these players who are now trapped because they couldn't give a 7 year old head phones or a cookie to shut her up. They chose to intimidate the little girl and trigger the defense mechanism her mother gave her.

Simple clarification; Vihtori's involvement with the scene is fine as long as he doesn't touch the door, yes? Because he isn't touching the door and I really want my personal plot to stay as it is.

*shrugs* till this entire mess is sorted out, fixed, i'm just not posting, period. Its fucked up, and not really logical. They were dealing with a little girl. They had no way of knowing that they would end up trapped. Not saying that ST scenes arn't dangerous, or important, but *shrugs* really, is there anything from moving that scene to today? Would it change the plot that much if they were trapped today, not last week?

No scenes are being axed they're just frozen.
The scene depends on time and will stand everything else frozen will be figured out after the scene is finished.

I strongly suggest declaring things to be such that threads that are already in progress have, you know, happened. Easier to retcon one thread as having started later than retcon several threads to have possibly not happened at all.

I don't like the fact that people are ganging up on Mike because of a call he made (a call which I happen to agree 100% with)..

It is NOT our responsibility to monitor the timestamps on each and every post/thread that people choose to involve themselves in..

First, there is no way you can logistically be in more than 1 place at a time. More often than not, we let that slide because not everyone is on the boards every second of every day... but there comes a point that we do need to put our foot down, especially when it comes to time-sensitive matters. And no, we are not going to tell you which threads are time sensitive..

Second, there are NO free passes in this game.. you do something IC, you suffer the consequences.. sometimes those are good, other times they are bad.. go ahead and try to intimidate the child of an ahroun legend.. there's no doubt she's more afraid of her mother.. besides the fact that her mother most likely told her kids exactly what TO DO if they were threatened... again, deal with your IC consequences...

Either way, I'm sick of hearing people bitch, so anymore argument on Mike's call will result characters will be limited to being active in 1 scene at a time, no if's, and's, or but's..

Everyone take a step back and breath... This is just a game after all, and should be fun. The forums are here for everyone's enjoyment.

It is not Mike's fault that multiple characters are currently involved in multiple scenes overlapping with a potentially life-threatening scene that took place before any of the other scenes started.

At the same time, I recognize that it is not the fault of other players involved in said scenes that are not the caged folks.

I am going to try to make an effort to review the scenes, and place pause notices where applicable, to be fair to the players that didn't have a hand in the mess and just want a clear idea of what is paused.

From a staff perspective though, this is a logistical nightmare that I would prefer not to see repeated. Were not asking people to only be involved in one scene at a time... We never have... But we do need people to keep it reasonable.

With all due respect to the staff I understand the hell people are going through for this, on the flip side yes it is only a game. Ultimately though it is a game that a lot of folks including the staff put a lot of heart and effort into and as such may react poorly when over a weeks worth of posts needed to be initially tossed and now simply locked.

As for ganging up on Mike I don't think anyone singled Mike out, I didn't think it was his call I thought it was the staff's call as a whole so my comments were directed as such. As for where it will finally end up I am not against only being in a set number of scenes at a time. It;s the downfall of online RP with a myriad of folks with different posting times and abilities.

Ok, since a PC actually found a way to keep the caged folks fed and watered, all scenes are back on and said to be occurring after the caged folks get out.

I think everything is unlocked now, if not, let me know.

Ok, time for my two cents now *holds out index finger and shakes it at the people who bothered Mike* BAD MONKEYS! Ok Now that thats done, I will not be posting in any other scene until I get out of the cage. Not becuase I want to be a jerk, but it might have lasting impacts on how I RP with other people. Like I might not gut Vihtori now, for not cearing about SR. Heck, I might even pee of SR we just don't know! Sorry, but I need to see if being trapped in a cage does any lasting damage to me.

So glad I only come on once or twice a day. I think it was a dumb call (moving the scene to today would have made the most sense IMNSHO), but chewing the GM out over the phone? Not cool.

My character's not at the sept currently so I'm not getting involved in other scenes atm.. Maybe thats a bad thing? I don't know. It's just I have had things that I needed to get done before I started running around..
