Wolf Quest (Game)
« on: November 29, 2011, 09:07:56 am »
Hey guys!  While I was out in California visiting my sister and her kids for Thanksgiving, my niece showed me a game called Wolf Quest that they let her play at school because it's educational.  It's a little glitchy at times and not terribly deep, BUT it's free to download and actually quite fun, especially if you're interested in the ecology of wolves.

You can hunt elk and hares, scavenge for carcasses, fight coyotes, other wolves, and bears (I don't recommend fighting bears - they will mess you up).  You can also find a mate, have pups, teach them, feed them, pee and howl to mark your territory...it's remarkably detailed, and I think you guys in particular would enjoy it.  Especially if you play a Lupus or plan to do so.

You can download it for free here: http://www.wolfquest.org/
