Should we revisit the way cub creation currently works? Should the caps on tempers be raised, etc?

can you list HOW cub creation currently works?  i had assumed, like usual, it is normal except you dont pick a tribe andyou dont pick a tribal gift.  but apparently you are super hosed in other ways?

Technically, I think, your tempers are capped at 3, which means lupus, Galliard, and Ahroun Cubs can't tap the full extent of their natural Gnosis and/or Rage. This seems silly and should definitely be house ruled in my opinion.

Mike had a lot of thoughts about how much freebie XP new characters should be given, and that probably intersects with this discussion.

We could definitely benefit from having an updated "character creation" section in general.

i am ot sure the cap at 3 is actually writen anywhere... so i am not even sure it woudl be hosuerules to do otherwise.

as a cub in HF, i was trait capped at 10, but got my tempers as per BAT, and got my extra gnosis once i had a tribe.  we assumed i started WP 3, buti was able to buy it up to 5 at creation.  andi think this makes sense

Well, since rank based temper caps are entirely a random change to MET, I think the whole concept is bizarre.

...I just like how at Hidden Flame the Temper caps are Rank + 5 so Ahrouns are just jittering balls of potential frenzy until Adren...
