Who are the current living Legends of the Nation? I'm assuming that they're sufficiently legendary that anyone with a level of Garou Lore, which everyone here has, knows who they are, B/T/A and major deeds or positions a la "is technically the King of the entire Nation."

There's one that lives here, there are two more by White Wolf canon, and I can think of at least two canon characters who don't have specified ranks and might be 5 or 6.

The lack of this information in coherent references is one of the reasons that getting updated tribal packets is so important. Â As Mike stated on the lists:

We need Packets, they are so important to this genre
I suggest appointing a sub coord specifically for the packets to help coordinate their completion.

We're in a dying game. Â White wolf hasn't produced material for this universe in over 8 years.
We're all getting older and with us this memory of the genre is getting older too.
Its imperative that new players and new games have guides to know what has happened in our universe over the past 8+ years.
We cannot go another year without these guides.

New players and new games don't know the history of OWbN, they deserve to know the history.
WW can throw curve balls at us, but we as an organization have a responsibility to hit those curve balls as they come.
I have a project management background, and I know if the rules change it doesn't mean your deadlines change.
If business lines are dragging their feet with information you need to push them or go around them.
You cannot sit back on your laurels and hope that noone will notice the deadline has passed.

Those canon legends are all legends per the books

Those listed below are every Legend posted to the OWBN Council List for the period of time at which Garou Legends were a Majority Vote and those which were notify to council.

The Child of Gaia who you may be thinking of who dissolved all the camps is an Elder in OWBN.

I was flipping through TB: GoF looking for Golgol Fangs-First, and his rank isn't explicit. The stories surrounding him imply it, but I've learned that comparative adjectives in gaming are misleading, given that most games tend to have at least four different levels of "way beyond normal human."

All ranks are per their status in OWBN Connor. Golgol is a legend additionally his rage card i believe lists him as a legend adding more credance.

And really blowing even a room full of elders results in only maybe 1-2 raging on. You must try harder young sith. For the dark side is never so easily defeated.
