Funny you should say that, we had someone do that exact thing.
I won't name names but he was captured and hung upside down in silver chains inside a cave.

For the record, it was Patrick.
For the record, he didn't "go into the water to cuddle with them"
He had a run-in while navigating the (dry) underwater caverns and tunnels and was captured.
And yes, hung upside down in silver shackles.
Almost died.
And we learned why it's a bad idea to go do a thing like that by yourself.
